What can I say?! I am SO looking forward to this show! Here are my reasons why: 1) It must be a contender for the cutest named venue in the world. 2) It IS cute! It's a converted timber barn. What could be better than playing an intimate music concert in a log cabin? I think I want to move in... 3) The people who run the venue are some of the loveliest people I've ever met. They're staunch music- lovers and believe whole- heartedly in real, original, live music by proper musicians and they go out of their way to support that. They spend lots of time and effort in making their concerts a top quality experience for both their audiences and their musicians. 4) You have to book a ticket to have the secret location disclosed! It's like a film! Once there, you'll be welcomed by said lovely hosts, and Ady Johnson opens the show at 8pm. (http://www.adyjohnson.co.uk) Lisa Marie Glover will be playing until the interval (http://www.lisamarieglover.co.uk/) and then it's FOOD TIME! Yes, these wonderful people even provide a two course meal, followed by a raffle, all in the price of your ticket. After the meal, it's my turn! I'll be up onstage with a variety of instruments and will be playing a set of around 1 hour 15 of songs from my previous two albums, some choice covers by artists similar in style, and perhaps give you a sneak- peek at some new material from my upcoming third album. I'll then be doing my mingling thing where I try to get to know everyone in the audience all at once, sign CDs and babble endlessly! 5) The show will be recorded and filmed, so if I release them out to the ether, you'll hear your own applause! (Hecklers beware: I am well trained in self- defence!)  So there you have it. Five reasons why you should come along! A £10 donation for a fantastically atmospheric night of three great singer/songwriters and a two course meal is a brilliant deal! I already know it's going to be a wonderful night and although I don't like to jinx things, it might just be the best place to see me live in 2012!
